Jonathan Brown has extensive expertise in legislation and regulation governing ticket sales.
He has represented STAR and the wider ticketing industry in the press, on radio and television, before Select Committee inquiries and as a speaker at industry events. His work involves dialogue with government departments, law enforcement agencies, regulators and other industry bodies. Earlier in his career he worked across technical, production, management and producing roles in the theatre. He has been involved with STAR since it began in 1997, administering the organisation and later becoming Chief Executive, leading STAR’s engagement with the evolving ticketing landscape.
