Elaine Grant Creative Consulting
Elaine is the director of Elaine Grant Creative Consulting specialising in theatre education, audience development and community engagement.
Her career in the Arts spans over 40 years and includes Go Live Theatre (formerly Mousetrap Theatre Projects), the first theatre education charity to create relaxed performances and all school matinees in the West End.
As a host and facilitator, she has successfully moderated numerous events in conjunction with Theatre: The Duchess of Malfi (Trafalgar Theatre), Art and Design: The Knowledge Exchange Awards (Central St Martins), Art & Culture: The Family Arts Campaign Awards and Heritage: Harewood House (Leeds).
She is a Trustee with Action for Children’s Arts, The Black Heroes Foundation and the Family Arts Campaign and a recipient of the 25 Champions of Black Theatre Award: Alfred Fagan Awards 2021.She is also a sponsored school governor and mentor with The Catalyst Collective.
Her consultancy portfolio includes significant work with audience development, Community engagement, access, outreach and inclusion with Sadlers Wells, Mackintosh Foundation (Hamilton the musical), Fourth Monkey (Actors Training Company), Harewood House (Leeds), The Children’s Theatre Partnership, MJ the Musical UK, Kew Gardens, The Arcola Theatre, Marylebone Theatre and The Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre giving access to diverse communities to confidently believe that they have agency in those spaces.
